The Feel free not to escape Fromm performance was inspired by a short story by Sławomir Mrożek entitled “Daję ci czas do południa…” [You have time until noon…] and Escape from Freedom by Erich Fromm. It all began with the short story by Mrożek. When dance entered the scene everything turned upside down and multiplied to the verge of breathlessness. Thus a space for Fromm’s Escape from Freedom was made. In the meantime also movement took the stage and the result was a multitude of ways of seeing the world from the perspective of dance and a choreographic microcosm.
