Aleksandra Osowicz

Dancemaker, graduated in visual art and photography at the Fine Arts University of Wroclaw, Poland in 2010 and in 2012 she completed PEPCC – Choreographic Creation, Dance Research and Training Programme in Forum Dança, Lisbon. DanceWEBer 2017. For many years, in parallel develops her interest in the field of visual arts, dance and curatorial work.

She has worked as a performer with Ula Sickle, Rodrigo Garcia, Doris Ulrich, Ben Riepe, Anna Nowicka, Magdalena Ptasznik, Renata Piotrowska- Auffret. As a choreographer she collaborated among others with Weronika Pelczyńska, Johannes Volkmann, Thomas Fourneau, Valentina Parlato, Emmi Venna, Oleg Makarov and Patrick KH. In 2012 together with Matthieu Ehrlacher, Ines Campos, Helena Martos Ramirez and Filipe Pereira founded the art collective THIS TAKES TIME. Same year she joined the DEPARTS network.

She is co-author and curator of the innovative Moves Festival in Wroclaw (2014-2015) and the Festival “Z Polski” (Donostia / San Sebastian / 2016). She has worked, among others with Wroclove Design – Good Design International Festival and the International Conference of Contemporary Dance in Bytom. Since several years, she is working with Avant Art Festival.

Aleksandra is an author of numerous dance projects, her works were performed at festivals: Alkantara Festival, 1 andar – Mostra de Criadores Emergentes,
International Triennale of Contemporary Art PORTIZMIR3, FIMFA Festival, Cumplicidades Festival, Guidara Festival, Scena Tańca Studio, Beautiful Movers -Centro de Arte Contemporáneo C3A.
