The performance was born in Philadelphia, according to the concept Meg Foley. In 2012, Maria Stokłosa and Meg Foley have met in Philadelphia. Interested in the similarity of their choreographic practice they led to a reunion a year later, at the Center on the Move in Warsaw and in Burdąg at Masuria.
In 2015 Maria Stokłosa has been invited by Meg Foley to the project concerning development of the practice of dance improvisation called Action is Primary. For half a year, Maria Stokłosa with Meg Foley, Kristel Baldoz and Annie Wilson has practiced and developed this method. The result was more than 30 productions with their participation, practice-based Action is Primary, which was held in April 2016 in the Icebox Project Space in Philadelphia. After completion of the project Meg Foley released its practice to Mary, Kristel and Annie to the further development and individual interpretation.
