Movement choirs are joyful structures with very special meaning elaborated by Rudolf Laban.
They are build on the supposition that communal dance and ability to share the movement greatly respond to the need of integration with a group, maintaining at the same time good level of self-esteem of participants.
In Greek choros means the team of dancers. It is communal but conscious creating of a choreographic whole, which intentions are shared by all the participants. In addition, the goals of a choir are firstly joyful communal creation of a dance and secondly the pleasure of movement expression.
