The movement-experience-perception. Workshop on motion study and improvisation.

By creating and exploring the possibilities of improvisation tasks of movement and dance we experience, we observe and call what appears. The proposed tasks are not based on the dance technique language, but on the desire to develop an individual approach to their own physicality follower for curiosity, interest emerging in action and fun. “I’m interested in the mutual influence of the motion observer and dancer, how internal and external perspective perception of movement can be enhanced and the ability to take both roles at the same time – to be an observer and a participant in the movement at the same time” – says Magdalena Ptasznik.

Workshop participants will ask and experience, as the simultaneous presence of these two perspectives opens a new potential that we see, we experience ourselves (as a performer, so person, body, dancer or non-dancer …) and movement, and above all, how to open, how we sensitize to a possible variation of its perception of how and what can be produced in the body motion.

Workshop led by Magdalena Ptasznik.
